Fear is making my choices

You can dress it up as prudence. It is still fear.

Diagnosis

Fear is a loyal advisor and a terrible CEO. Use it as information: something you care about is at risk. Then decide from the standard, not from the adrenaline.

Protocol

  1. 1Write the fear in a full sentence. Vague fear gets bigger.
  2. 2Write the cost of not moving for 12 months.
  3. 3Take the smallest irreversible step that makes the fear tell the truth.

The standard: Name it. Price the inaction. Move one inch anyway.

So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God.

Isaiah 41:10
