Insight became your personality. Application would threaten the identity of being the one who 'gets it.' Wisdom is expensive because it requires you to look average while you practice.
Protocol
- 1Pick one domain. Ban new frameworks for 30 days.
- 2Do the unsexy reps. Track them. Do not narrate them.
- 3Ask a sharper person where your intelligence is a dodge.
The standard: Less theory. More reps. Pride on a leash.
