Diagnosis
You are treating adults like they should read your mind. Work relationships are not family and they are not combat. They are a standard plus respect. Gossip is cheaper than a direct sentence and it always collects interest.
Protocol
- 1Stop talking about them. Talk to them. One person. This week.
- 2Write what 'good' looks like for the shared work. Send it. Invite a correction.
- 3If you are the problem, say that first. Authority starts with owning your side.
The standard: Direct. Specific. No triangle. Same day if it is hot.
